Biosand Filters and Brick tanks: A water solution in Gomba, Uganda

"The older girls and boys are the ones who had to go find the water far from school. I'm in P6 now and I was among the big girls. The days I knew I was going to go fetch water, I didn't feel like coming to school. It was far and the borehole water had a bad smell. Now I am happy to come to fetch the water at the tank anytime.
