Fossil of the Day award goes to Saudi Arabia

PARIS, FRANCE-- On the fifth day of COP21, the Fossil of the Day Award was presented to Saudi Arabia. The award is presented with dishonor to the country that is responsible for wrecking the climate or getting in the way of the climate negotiations. It was announced that Saudi Arabia won the award today because the Saudi delegation is "doing its best to keep a meaningful mention of the 1.5 degree global warming limit out of the agreement."

On Thursday, December 4, 2015, the COP21 was in it's fifth day of the UN Climate Conference. The COP21 is being held in Paris, France, at the Le Bourget conference center.
