WASHINGTON, DC-- On January 20, 2017, people gathered to protest the inauguration of Donald Trump as 45th President of the United States. Six of the entrances to the inauguration ceremony were blockaded for hours as people linked arms in front of the security gates to prevent people from entering. Protests continued throughout the day around the city.
