CANNON BALL, NORTH DAKOTA-- On September 3, 2016, over Labor Day Weekend, thousands of people from dozens of Native Nations remain gathered near Cannon Ball, ND, to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline. The Pipeline would carry Bakken oil upstream of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation and construction has already damaged sacred sites.
