"School abseentism has dropped from an average of 60 students weekly to about eight weekly after we started providing clean drinking water from the Biosand Filters. The health of the children has definitely improved. They have access to clean water throughout. This project is invaluable."

Uganda Women Water Initiative started working with women in Kabulasoke, whose children attend Joy and Grace Primary school. The school now has 4 Biosand filters in 4 classrooms that provide clean drinking water for the 260 children.
