• Paris, France

The group of partner organizations supporting the D12 mobilization just made a big action on saturday 12, 2015 at the heart of the city of Paris, where the clock is ticking down on a global climate deal

The Red Lines action that had thousands of activists, was intended to launch a new wave of what some activists call “climate disobedience,” civil disobedience actions that challenge the fossil fuel industry, often at major infrastructure projects like coal mines or pipelines.

Not about judging the text, it is about planetary red lines and taking the fight forward with regards to the fossil industry that thrives despite major climate calls.
• SAN FRANCISCO — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has confirmed that it has conducted at least 150 arrests in deportation operations across Northern California over the last several days.

A broad array of local groups, informally known as the “Power, not Panic Emergency Response Committee” has come together to denounce ICE’s operation as a profound abuse of power and to mount an emergency response. Sanctuary cities and states are on the right side of history. Local governments should stay out of the business of deportation and refuse to help Trump deport millions of our neighbors, loved ones, and friends.
• Cop 21: Paris, France

Environmental activists across all parts of the world gathered on 12, Dec 2015 at the floor of the Eiffel tower in Paris to protest against the capitalistic corporations that have taken the rooms of climate negotiations in Cop 21.

The environmental crisis is taking alarming proportions in the world today.

Later in the day, activists will take to a major boulevard to unroll two 100-meter banners with the slogans "Keep It In The Ground" and "Crimes Climatiques, Stop!" Afterward, they will place over 5,000 red tulips along the banners, the newspaper added.

The action was coordinated by the 350.org climate-focused initiative, whose collective ambition has been to force the governments to have a transparency commitment towards adapting to climate change.

The action was packed with thousands of activists who had a clear target towards the climate crisis.

• OAKLAND, CA-- June 6, 2020. Sit Out the Curfew. Historically, curfews in the US have been implemented to restrict the physical and political movement of black people. In defiance of a city-wide curfew in Oakland, thousands gathered in the continued call for systemic change and an end to police brutality. Starting at 8 p.m. demonstrators sat in the intersection of 14th and Broadway as the sunset and curfew officially went into effect.
We demand investments that promotes the economic stability of our communities and increased community control over the institutions that are meant to serve us. We need to divest from the institutions that decimate Black communities and invest in Black futures."
• Kibera, Nairobi - On Nov 22nd 2012: Achieng Christine Awuor is keen on her studies late in the afternoon. She feels so over joyed by this unique project in Kenya's Kibera. Her sentiments is that the concept and installation of the bulbs should spread out in all of the Kenyan schools. The ministry of Education and ministry of Regional Development Authorities (MoRDA) should take up this project and implement to all public schools.
• India's has a mythical character with ten heads in its history. Students and youth presented a ten headed demon of climate change outside the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, India. The ten heads of the demon symbolised ten enemies of our planet earth namely fossil fuels, unsustainable fashion, aviation, commercial fishing, cars, coal plants, deforestation, rampant urbanisation and plastic.

 • WASHINGTON, DC -- On, April 29, 2017 over 200,000 people participated in Peoples Climate Marches all over the country, for climate action, jobs, and justice. On Trump’s 100th day in office, we sent a *very* political message: This isn’t Trump’s America — it’s ours. Climate change isn’t a hoax — it’s a crisis. And the climate movement isn’t giving up or going away.

We will use every tool at our disposal to protect community members from federal abuses of power.
