There are few water sources in Gomba District and the ones that are available are far. Water has to be transported in 20 liter Jerri-cans using motorbikes to transport the water to homes and to schools in Kabulasoke, Gomba at a cost.
This adds the burden on the already strained women and the schools with low or no income that have to provide clean drinking water for their families and to their pupils.
